One day i was at India Gate with my friends ,we met after a year .It was about 9.00 pm all of us going back when i saw a man selling bubble making kits, he was blowing bubbles non stop standing in front of a spot light. I started clicking his pictures , he saw me but continued.For us this little source of entertainment is a means of earning for other, how much would he earn from that profession , but he was happy! afterall this all apni dilli is – dil waloon ki ! When leaving the place , i brought a kit from him as a respect i wanted to give him.
The most versatile piece in a building, [the door] has been a mode of expression [for] ages. The door in apartments and modern societies is just a mode of a transition from outside to inside. In traditional cities and neighborhoods, like that of Kathmandu, it’s much more than that. It’s the place where people spend most of their time. Sitting at the Chaukhat, socializing and chatting.
